Which ZKS class should I choose?

Choose the right trial programme by age, school stage and support needs.

Quick answer

For children's classes, use the student's current school stage as well as age. For ages close to a programme boundary, or where additional support may be needed, contact ZKS rather than guessing.

Children's programmes

  1. Little Dragons: ages 3–4.
  2. Mini Ninjas: approximately ages 5–7 and Key Stage 1.
  3. Junior Martial Arts: approximately ages 7–11 and Key Stage 2.
  4. Teen Martial Arts: approximately ages 11–16 and secondary-school students.
  5. Adaptive ZKSMA: a specialist supportive programme for suitable children with additional needs. Contact ZKS so suitability and support can be discussed before booking.

Each programme link explains the class purpose, content and age-specific approach. Use this Help Centre article to choose the likely route, then read the programme page before requesting the trial.

Boundary ages: school stage, development, class availability and individual need may affect the best placement. ZKS may recommend a different suitable class after speaking with you or observing the trial.

Students aged 16 and over

Adult and older-teen options include ZKS Taijutsu and Havoc Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and grappling. These programmes have different timetables, clothing and introductory arrangements, so check the programme information and confirmation rather than relying only on the children's trial guidance.

View the current class timetable. If the student is 16 or 17 and you are unsure about an adult training environment, contact ZKS before requesting the trial.
