Archie Babbington
Aylesbury Assistant Instructor
Meet Archie
Black Belt in Taijutsu and newest to the team of lead instructors.
Biography
Archie Babbington is our newest instructor, but martial arts have been part of his life from the very beginning — quite literally! The son of Sensei Ben and Sensei Louise, Archie was born on the mats and has grown up at the heart of the ZKS family.
Having progressed through every stage of ZKS’s programmes, Archie understands the journey from young beginner to instructor first-hand. Now a black belt in Taijutsu, he brings that experience to his teaching, encouraging members as they take their own next steps.
Archie is also a qualified personal trainer and an avid weightlifter. His enthusiasm for training and dedication to his own development make him an inspiring example to members and the wider ZKS team.
During the day, Archie works as a tutor within Next Phase Academy’s Alternative Provision, providing martial arts tuition for students in Years 7–11 (Key Stages 3 and 4). The programme offers a supportive approach for young people who need an alternative to mainstream education, combining learning with sport, physical activity and personal development. Through his teaching, Archie supports its focus on building confidence, teamwork and engagement in learning.
With a lifetime of involvement in ZKS and plenty of energy for the future, Archie is a valued member of our teaching team and a great asset to the members he supports.
