Meet Jackie

Junior black belt · Currently studying BTEC Sport Science.

How my martial arts journey began

I started training in 2016, when I was about seven. LEGO Ninjago sparked my interest in martial arts, and I first became involved with ZKS through my birthday party. Since then, I have worked towards and achieved my junior black belt.

From student to assistant instructor.

I began helping with classes when I was around thirteen. Sensei Timothy inspired me to become someone who could have a positive influence on the next generation.

I now support Little Dragons, Mini Ninjas and Junior Martial Arts at Aylesbury HQ and Fairford Leys. The memories of helping people mean a lot to me. One of my most rewarding moments was hearing a student say how much they enjoyed being taught by me.

What my classes are like

I would describe my approach as energetic and spontaneous. I hope students gain new perspectives as well as martial arts skills.

If you are nervous about starting, come and give it a go. There is no harm in trying something new, and the team is here to help you learn.

Life beyond the mats

Being part of ZKS feels like being part of a bigger family. Outside training, I enjoy playing board games with friends and researching topics about the universe.

I am currently studying BTEC Sport Science, and one of my goals is to achieve distinctions in my school subjects.
