Parking

Parking is available at Aylesbury Shopping Park, Cambridge Close, Aylesbury, HP20 1DG, which is a short walk from ZKSMA HQ.

The first two hours are free and there are ANPR cameras when you enter the car park. As the competition is expected to last approximately three hours, you are likely to need to pay for the additional parking time.

Please check the parking signs and current tariff when you arrive. Payment can be made using the card payment machines or through the Trust parking app. Cash payments are not accepted. The car park is operated separately from ZKS Martial Arts, so we cannot accept responsibility for parking charges or parking notices.

Spectator Arrangements

ZKSMA HQ is a small venue, and spectating is limited to one spectator per competitor. Parents and spectators will be asked to join us on the mats in a designated spectator area.

Everyone entering the mat area must remove their shoes, so please wear suitable, clean socks. There will be very limited bench seating. Most spectators should expect to stand or sit on the mats during the competition. Please do not eat or drink on the mats other than water.

Please follow the instructions given by the ZKS team on arrival so that we can keep the competition and spectator areas safe and organised.

How the Competition Will Work

We will use the official ZKS competition forms. The number of matches will vary according to the size and structure of each group, and a competitor who loses early may still have a route to 3rd or 4th place.

There will be two competition sections:

  • Standing Sparring: Controlled standing kickboxing with no strikes or contact to the head.
  • Ne-Waza: Wrestling and grappling from the knees, using controlled techniques to work towards a dominant position.

Each competition section is expected to last approximately 45 minutes. Individual bouts will last approximately one minute.
