L'il Dragons courses are designed specifically for young children aged from 4 to 5. They are ideal for children with an interest in martial arts, but teach so much more.

We believe that it is so important to make the program fun and educational as this is likely to be the first time your child has been involved in an extra curricular activity.

There are 12 lessons in the program and each lesson is approximately 30 minutes long. We know from experience that after 30 minutes, childrens' attention starts to wane, and it is very important to make this an enjoyable activity for them.

Best of all, it gives you 30 minutes to put your feet up and have a cup of tea!

When you you sign your child up for the first course, we will give you a book bag, T Shirt, worksheets, timetable, plus terms and conditions.

There will no be more than ten children in the class and we help to instill the following values during the course and in the worksheets:

• Learn to share, develop self esteem  and a sense of independence.
  
• How to take turns, follow directions and show self control.
  
• We will stimulate their curiosity, develop speech and language, promote physical strength, and increase awareness of body and space.
  
• They will start to develop a love of learning, build fundamental motor skills, problem solve, and demonstrate responsibility
• We will encourage social skills, and teach them how to act respectfully.
• And finally, and most importanty, help to keep them safe - to know their telephone number, how to deal with strangers, and what to do if they are bullied.

The instructor will have been C.R.B. checked (Criminal Records Bureau) and also have the relevant qualifications including Paediatric First Aid. They will have their qualifications available for you to look at on the day if you need reassurance.

We would always advise that it is essential that that you find out who is responsible for your children, and don't assume that just because it's an after-school activity that the organisers are qualified.
